Danmarksplass charging station
Our competition entry for a complex site in Bergen hosting an electric vehicle recharging station which is intended to promote the use of sustainable power. Our design used a Catmull-Clarke routine to sub divide an undulating glulam timber roof into a pattern based on the structural properties of a leaf. The roof has been designed to be built in phases depending on the clients budget.
The resulting canopy is a low cost but striking and very sustainable response to the clients brief.
